NQ Project Partners

NQ Project Partners is a 51% Indigenous-owned and women-led heavy civil and infrastructure delivery management consultancy based in Cairns, North Queensland. Established in 2022, we deliver civil transport infrastructure and general civil construction works for contractors, asset owners and government clients.

We provide project and construction management, superintendency and Superintendent’s Representative support, contract and commercial administration, procurement and tender support, project controls and reporting, and quality, safety and environmental management. We work either as the managing party or embedded within an existing delivery team, and we are built for remote and regional delivery in access-constrained and wet season conditions.

Disciplines

• Bulk earthworks — cut to fill, mass haul, subgrade preparation and proof rolling, material conformance, moisture conditioning, batters and slope stabilisation, erosion and sediment control
• Access tracks and hardstands — site and internal access networks, hardstands, laydown and crane pads, and heavy haulage routes for oversize and over-mass loads
• Pavements — unbound granular and stabilised pavements, cement and foamed bitumen treatments, asphalt surfacing, sprayed seals, concrete overlays, rehabilitation and reconstruction
• Drainage and water management — pipe culverts, gully pits, kerb and channel and subsoil drainage, reinforced concrete box culverts, headwalls and wingwalls, table and diversion drains, scour protection, sediment basins and major stormwater systems
• Concrete structures and foundations — cast in-situ and precast elements, bored and cast in-situ piling, footings and pads, retaining and reinforced soil structures, fibre reinforced polymer reinforcement for coastal and tropical durability
• Services, trenching and cable routes — underground reticulation, trenching and conduit installation, directional drilling and underboring, service relocation and protection, utility authority coordination
• Traffic and access management — staged construction under live traffic, road occupancy and permits, heavy haulage access and public interface management

• Contract administration under AS2124, AS4000 and principal-specific conditions
• Progress claims, variations, extensions of time and delay assessment
• Programme management, earned value and cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Quality, conformance and ITP administration, safety and environmental management
