How businesses appear — and stay current — in BBI.
Businesses can submit and manage listings, while some profiles may also originate from publicly available industry information. Existing profiles can be claimed so businesses can take greater control of their information.
Create a new listing
Provide core company information such as services, categories, operating locations, contact details, website, logo and capability information.
Claim and update
If your company is already listed, you can request control of the profile. Once ownership is verified, the profile can be updated and maintained.
Public-information profiles
To improve market coverage, BBI may identify businesses through public company information, industry contributions, business websites, public directories or industry databases.

No account is required to browse the public directory and open publicly available business profiles.
Can a business already be listed in BBI?+
Yes. Some profiles may be created from publicly available industry information. Businesses can request to claim an existing profile and update it after ownership is verified.
Are listings reviewed before publication?+
Business-submitted listings are reviewed before publication. Review and approval times can vary depending on submission volume and verification requirements.
Does a BBI listing mean a supplier is approved?+
No. Directory inclusion is not an endorsement or certification. Users should independently confirm capability, licensing, insurance, certifications and suitability before engagement.
