Golding Wins $130M Stockland Civil Packages Across Yarrabilba and Shoreline

$130 million. Two major communities. Civil construction locked in through 2028.

NRW Holdings subsidiary Golding Contractors has secured approximately $130 million of confirmed civil works from Stockland across the Yarrabilba and Shoreline masterplanned communities in South East Queensland.

The awards cover subdivision infrastructure, major roadworks, a new signalised intersection and bridge construction, with Shoreline works scheduled through July 2027 and Yarrabilba extending to March 2028.

For the civil supply chain, the award provides a high level of delivery certainty: a named contractor, named client, confirmed contract value, defined scope and multi-year delivery program.

Multi-Year Civil Program

The contracts create work extending well beyond 2026

Shoreline’s awarded program runs through July 2027, while Golding’s new Yarrabilba scope continues into March 2028.

That gives the contractor a defined South East Queensland urban-development workload across multiple construction seasons.

Shoreline adds a road, intersection and bridge package to the civil program

Shoreline is Stockland’s major bayside community at Redland Bay.

Stockland’s current project material describes the wider masterplan as ultimately supporting approximately 3,000 homes and more than 10,000 residents.

Golding’s new package is therefore not limited to residential lot preparation.

The Serpentine Creek Road work introduces a significant transport-infrastructure component through the road upgrade, signalised intersection and Bebo Arch Bridge.

Subdivision and associated infrastructure for Precincts DA7 and DA8 then extend the scope into the underlying civil works required to release future residential land.

Civil Delivery

The physical workstream reaches well beyond bulk earthworks

Large subdivision and road packages can require coordinated delivery across earthworks, drainage, underground services, pavement construction, concrete, road furniture and finishing works.

The bridge and signalised-intersection scope at Shoreline adds further interfaces around structures, traffic systems and road commissioning.

Yarrabilba extends one of Golding’s longest-running Stockland relationships

The Yarrabilba award is particularly notable because Golding is not entering the project for the first time.

NRW says Golding commenced working at Yarrabilba in October 2017 and has since delivered more than 3,200 residential and commercial lots.

The new Precinct 6 and Precinct 8 packages extend that relationship through to March 2028.

Yarrabilba itself is one of South East Queensland’s largest masterplanned communities, with the wider development planned around approximately 17,000 dwellings and a future population exceeding 45,000 people.

Golding and Stockland already have a substantial South East Queensland delivery history

Golding’s wider urban-development portfolio also includes previous Stockland work across South East Queensland, including bulk-earthworks and subdivision projects.

That history gives the current award a different commercial character from a contractor entering an unfamiliar residential market.

It represents an extension of an established developer-contractor relationship into another substantial multi-year package.

The confirmed head contract creates a wider civil supply-chain opportunity

Golding has the main civil awards, but delivery of a program this broad can involve a large network of specialist subcontractors, plant providers and suppliers.

The following should be treated as capability areas to monitor rather than confirmation that each is currently available as a separate package.
